7. The police were really easy going.

They were there for homeland security purposes and crowd control, they didn't do anything that normally leads to people being confrontational and getting arrested. I still don't believe they let people walk across the reflecting pool, I wish I had gotten pictures of that because I am quite convinced it is something I will never again see in my lifetime....Capitol Police are not normally anywhere near that laid back.
