ROCKPORT (Jan 21): Motorists driving north on Route 1 are doing double takes when crossing the Rockport/Camden town line.

The crew at Adventure Advertising on the Rockport side of the town line took a snow day on Monday and sculpted the face of President Barack Obama out of the piles of snow.

Ben McGinnis was the lead designer for the team project.

4. here's a comment from one of the folks that made snobama
Wow.... it's just a snow sculpture. But, if it needs explaining; yes, snow is a different medium and we were not attempting to create an exact likeness... it was just the best we could do. Given the snow condition, and the time we could afford to commit to such a team project, we think it came out pretty good. As for the message "will work of change", this should not come as a surprise. His entire campaign was based on working for change. We think he will work for change. On the historic day of his inauguration, we simply wanted to honor our new president, and have some fun. It's not a political statement, racial remark, or comic expression... it's just a snow sculpture. Wow.
