6. At this point, it would probably be more likely than getting any help

from the state. At least people here have been rallying and donating money and supplies that some of the local airlines are flying out there for free. The State was warned at the end of summer that this was going to be a problem, and they did nothing...there's no excuse.

The people there are mostly Native. "Mostly" actually doesn't cut it. Out of 800 people, fewer than eighty are not Native. Through hte reins of the Murkowskis and Palin, there's been a pretty constant strain of "fuck the Natives"
