Watching Morning Joe Is Torture.......
this should be one of the methods used in the interrogation of prisoners at Gitmo if Obama decides after 120 days to keep it open. Listening to him now acting to be 'fair and balanced' he's trying to define torture. This guy is worthless and Mika - whom I once thought was good is a puppet - a sock puppet - for Joe.

When is MSNBC going to put this guy out to pasture like they did the 'bowtie' boy?

I go to sleep watching Rachel, Keith or even Chris. When I awake and the TV is still on MSNBC and A.M. Joe - I have to turn them off and put on CNN - because watching A.M. Joe is torture.

1. Perfect
I give them 30 minutes and head to CSpan. Put simply the losers want their illegal policies to remain in place. JOe Scum has never read the Geneva Convention.

3. I was so disappointed when Mika turned to the Dark Side.
When she first appeared she was always bringing Joe up short, disagreeing with him, being sensible, etc. At some point that all stopped and she turned into a right-wing suckup.

The fact that she can turn on a dime and suddenly have opposite opinions suggests to me that none of her opinions are really truly felt. Apparently, she says what they tell her to, and/or what will make her the most money.

Mika = Phony

5. I saw that trasnformation too.
It was fairly obvious she'd been instructed by the show's producers to "just lie back and enjoy it."

16. Why didn't Stephanie Miller get this time slot?
Oh no we can't have someone offering the alternative early in the morning

Joe serves the purpose of setting out the established general opinion of DC
Fox & Friends offers the right wing talking points of the consensus
Same thing basically

Stephanie is not only bright and talented but she also wouldn't have been hard to look at early in the morning. Good television- but we can't have that.

9. oh gawd, i know...
It's like he's having a temper tantrum. He thinks that talking loud and speaking over people somehow proves his point and makes him right. He needs a time-out.

Now that Gitmo/torture is in the news, he'll be doing this every day. :banghead:
I can't listen for long.

11. MSNBC will get rid of Joe
when we all stop watching... but as long as
there is viewership, it's profitable to keep him on the air.
The answer is simple (but hard to do)... don't watch.

13. Even if everyone stopped watching he would still be on
Why?
Because of how cable and satellite TV is packaged. You buy a package of channels and so they can say that they are in so many homes whether anyone watches or not.

15. I leave my cable box set to the Weather Channel when I go to bed.
That way it's not registering an MSNBC viewer while Joe is on.

24. If you have a cable box, you're a registered viewer. The only thing
they don't have is your demographic.

25. My cable system reads the boxes and keeps track of what's being watched.
The reason I believe this is that the library-oriented company I worked for put a local "book club" show on one of the cable channels and the programming guy at the cable company was able to show us a graph of exactly how many boxes were tuned to the show minute by minute during the one-hour duration. I have no reason to think they have stopped doing this. Do you?

14. Those Wingnuts Sure Get Chubbies Over Torture
I'm not sure what it is...a power trip or just the pleaure of giving pain to other, but it's just amazing to hear these goons talk about war crimes as being so common place and even necessary. It's an absolute national shame and those who support this should be given any credibility...absolute chickenshits.

MSNBC rarely gets turned on here before 10 or 11 am (when Schuster comes on...Contessa is just a little too much for anyone with intelligence to watch) and I'm glad to hear they'll be putting on a third "liberal" show at 10pm Eastern in the near future. I don't mind them bringing on the wingnuts...they make for amusing viewing these days, but at least at MSNBC is starting to admit they represent a majority in this country and are programming to it.

20. They're Clueless
When I just heard a wingnut call waterboarding "just throwing some water on them"...it shows how little these asshat's know as to what was going on in their name, or that it provided little, if any, actionable intel. Most GOOPers have been turned into chikenshits (if they weren't already) where playing dirty is an ends to a means. They all have blood on their hands...every last one of them.

26. that's the problem..
they're trying to wash it away, and influence public opinion so they can get assurances from the Attorney General that he/she will not prosecute those who authorized torture. We've known about it for years, and I'm sure they knew this day was coming. Now it's 'Damage Control'.

Joe you moron there was no Miranda ruling until the 60's :eyes:
The whole thing was ridiculous and the Washington Post guy nailed them on it and Joe/Pat were literally screaming at him

27. I haven't watched The Mourning Jerk and Meeka Mouse Show since last March.
Last I heard it had great ratings, so it'll probably be around for awhile. I'd rather pull out my own fingernails that watch the crap that msnbc airs in the morning.

for a single second. Mika is so inappropriate with her facial expressions really look at her face she's all over the place and as for Joe well nothing needs to be said. I wonder how his poor dead interns family is.
