Today is the annual March for Life in DC. And today Obama
is lifting the global gag rule on non-government organizations who want to provide abortion advice or services in countries across the globe, but are barred from doing so if they accept government money.

A new day has dawned, forced birthers.

5. Great! I can't wait to see all of the signs supporting Single Payer Health Care,
Wage/Salary Parity for Women, GLBT Marriage, The Employee Free Choice Act, Alternative Energy . . . . ALL about Life!

It will be great to see all of this support for the Living. :sarcasm:

6. No more special calls from the WH!
I used to hate how both Bushes would make a special phone call to the group and give them all a pep talk like they were a bunch of children.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of folks.

7. I saw an article about the March for Life in my local paper.
The accompanying picture was one of a young child, maybe five or six years old at the most, dressed up as a present (box, bow, the works) with a sign that read: "I am a GIFT, not a CHOICE!" The kid didn't look all that happy about it.

There was also a sign that said, "Choose life, your mother did!" (or something along those lines, I can't remember the exact phrasing). Maybe I'm just weird, but I never really understood the whole "my mom didn't abort me, so no one should be able to have an abortion!" thing. When I was born, my mother was in a stable, loving relationship with my dad - they had been married for several years and both had jobs, a decent place to live, good health, and financial stability. However, not everyone is lucky enough to have the things that my parents did when I was born. I'm not saying that people in different or less desirable circumstances should necessarily have abortions, but if I had been the product of rape or incest, or if my mother had a serious medical condition that could make a pregnancy life-threatening to her, I would want her to have that option, because I love her and I value her life.

8. It's like they don't even realize
what they are "arguing" against, these forced birthers. and I'm talking about the foot soldiers, not their "brain trusts" like randall terry. He and his ilk know exactly what they are doing.
