I find it somewhat outrageous that non-citizen illegal immigrants get a pass on 6 felonies before they are even prosecuted, while US taxpaying citizens get prosecuted for a singular traffic ticket.

The illegal immigration issue is about one thing.....increasing the numbers of cheap labor to accomodate the US Chamber of Commerce. They gain and USA workers pay the toll in lower wages and quality of life. They believe illegal immigration is no big deal unless the offense is repeated 6 times. Their goal is to get 20-30 million illegal Mexicans and their families in the USA usurping jobs from Americans at less than half the US wages.

As a US citizen I suggest try tearing up six traffic tickets to find out your "accountability". I'll guarantee that unless you are in this country illegally you will be "booted" and indicted long before arrest number 6.

Don't be misled.....illegal immigration is not about compassion, it is about giving more to the already rich, while it screws those Americans that already have less.

2. Yeah, it's such a great life being an illegal immigrant
I actually read the article, and you're (deliberately?) misinterpreting it. It's not ANY six felonies; it's six attempted border crossings, which makes sense because of the numbers involved. They're only so much court time.

4. You're Not Using the Best Argument
If you want to argue the anti-immigrant position, you should not focus on a meaningless number like border crossings allowed. It's reactionary and superficial.

On the other hand, your point about illegal immigration feeding rich people's taste for little brown girls to wipe their asses for them, or harvest the cabbage and avocados, at sub-minimum wage. Now THERE you have an argument.

Simpson-Mazzoli enacted employer sanctions for hiring non-citizens without INS clearance in 1985 or so. How many prosecutions of employers since then?

9. Agreed - it's really about affordable indentured servants.
I agree the issue is about the the well-to-do encouraging cheap non-US labor to illegally immigrate so as to advance their wealth. Your point about their desire for "an affordable brown butt wiper" is succinct and true.

Businesses that hire illegal immigrants should receive significant penalties and enough to make their employment unprofitable.

This is all about improving the lot for business and the wealthy interests at the expense of Americans that are struggling to keep their head above water. I'm convinced that those Democrats in Congress who support amnesty can truly say they are on the side of American workers. What they claim and what they demonstrate are two different and diametrically opposed views.
