don't attack me. But am I the only one who thinks that Michelle needs fashion advice? The gold outfit on Tuesday did nothing for her and the white evening gown was another disaster. Is it just me? She is a beautiful woman but someone is not dressing her the way she should be dressed, IMHO.

had to step back and ask if I was going easy on Michelle and her clothes. But, since I dress a lot like her I must say that I think she HAS GREAT FASHION SENSE. If I had somewhere to go, I would wear the white evening gown. I thought it was beautiful. And I loved the gold outfit. It was very classic.

But there are people who agree with you. I actually think that some of the fabrics don't translate well onto television.

Because I want a first lady who chooses what she wants to wear and takes chances, even if others don't love it. She is not a celebrity; her livelihood doesn't depend on what she wears. Too much is made of her appearance anyway.

I really liked the outfit she had on at the Lincoln memorial day celebration and I really liked the one she had on at the inauguration (loved those gloves!). And many times she's looked stunning, like in the photo when she and Obama went to meet Laura and George Bush when she wore the red dress. There are countless photos of her during the campaign when she looked beautifully dressed.

I think she'll probably settle on one or two designers who make her look her best and we'll see some great outfits in the coming years.

Malia and Sasha are always lovely and look wonderful in their clothes. It's obvious to me that they have a lot of say in what they wear.

It made her look puffy. Not the right design for her body. A halter dress would have looked nicer, and no mid line pull. But then again, what do you say to a designer when you don't like something. I've seen some still pics that make the dress look better.. maybe the video just made it look worse. Now, Dr. Biden looked good.

lies. I don't see the inauguration primarily as a celebratory (although this year certainly felt like it!)event, celebratory would be a part of it to me, but certainly not the most significant part. She WAS dressed appropriately for a party atmosphere. It was business(y) casual, I am 30 years old and I wouldn't wear that to work, but I would wear it to a work party. Different strokes I guess. It was too much for me on a historic day.... stiletto knee highs or a short skirt... not both.
