I'm sorry, but I cannot support Dennis Kucinich.
1. He shook Bush's hand at the SOTU. Not only that but he arrived far in advance to make sure he was positioned to do so. A betrayal if there ever was one.

2. He's 60 yr old man with NO GRAY HAIR. There's just something unnatural about that. I think it's possible he may not be human. Either that or he colors his hair. And there's one thing I will not support is someone who has to hide behind the fakeness of hair color. I want someone who has nothing to hide.

3. His singing generally, well, sucks. Imagine what the other leaders of the world will think of us every time he sings along to the National Anthem. What an embarrassment.

4. His latest wife is a whole foot taller than him and it would just look funny to have the first lady towering over the President. How is a man supposed to project strength to our enemies when his own wife is looking down on him.

5. There is nothing on Kucinich's website about him fighting in Vietnam and in 2000 I learned that is a necessity to be president.

Yes, I am being sarcastic. It's just unbelievable to me what some people are posting in GD lately about why they will never vote for a certain candidate should they win the nomination. We are in a fight for the very survival of our Constitutional government and DEMOCRATS would actually consider staying home or voting 3rd party thereby gauranteeing a win for the R's (who will only further shred the Constitution). I truly hope those of you saying you'd do that are just talking. I really do.

3. Now that you pointed out the gray hair thing
I will really have to take a second look at this issue.. We live in serious times and that requires serious people to focus on such things.... :silly:

4. You got a laugh out of me.
You forgot that his last name rhymes with Spinanch. I hate cooked spinanch so I can't support him either. And I also hide my grey hair with dye so there!

6. My Honest Opinion
I'm sure there will be those who think I'm full of it, and will explain to me 50 reasons why I'm wrong.

But I sincerely do not think that Kucinich would have a chance in a General Election.

And.....<ducking out of the way>.....I don't take anything away from his running, but I do not see him being able to challenge other candidates like Clinton or Edwards in the primaries. He'll attract support, but unfortunately he's just not someone I see going deep.

8. There are DUers, and there are DUers...
Not everything posted in GD is posted with honest intention. That's going to be more and more of a problem until 2008, when Skinner (hopefully) reinstates the "We shall speak no evil of fellow Democrats" rule.

Until then, my assumption is that any negative post about any Democrat other than Zell Miller, Joe Lieberman, and sometimes Joe Biden has an ulterior motive counter to the one I have for being here. I may be wrong in a few cases, but I'll take that risk.

Just my thoughts. Wrong as always.

This quote "If Bush attacks Iran, then we can put impeachment on the table". Yes Dennis, lets wait to start another war before holding the administration responsible for it's crimes. I'm seeing people post legitimate reasons for disliking candidates and taken to task for it by being called bashers. Apparently no one is allowed to have a legitimate complaint about any Dem.

16. Well, mr liberty is going to vote FOR him...because his wife is a tall, hot looking redhead...
No, not really...although he is rather drawn to redheads, particularly tall, goodlooking redheads -which I am not!

You know, you almost had me there for a minute. The way GD's been lately, I wouldn't have been too surprised if you had been serious!

20. I really thought you were serious at first. Probably because of
the Edwards' house threads. Some people are just too judgmental and critical, especially of other Democrats. There's nothing wrong to pointing out the truth, but too often its just supposition and innuendo.

LMAO at the little Elf House.
