2. First caller is clueless
Closing Gitmo is just changing the zip codes of where they hare held - he doesn't see what difference it makes if we close it.

4. I feel the same with you on this. Close it is best for how we look
but I am willing to bet the bad guys, if they really have them, will just be moved to some other place. Who knows if some one sat in Gitmo for 4 or so years and had not done a thing, when he got out he should would join a group to blow up Am. Who wouldn't. Then I think we should land on the country these people go to to take them in line. SA should have been watching this man who in on the NYTimes not Geo. Bush or Obama. I read a good many of these men in Gitmo were 'sold' to the USA by local people for cash in hand at the start or this. The whole thing smelled bad from day one.

3. caller says people would support torture to stop a US city from being nuked
Someone who has knowledge of a city being nuked, yet doesn't willingly give over information, cannot be trusted to tell the truth regardless of what's done to him/her. Obviously that person's heart is in the wrong place to begin with.

5. I can't stand that moderator. He's so disingenuous
He has no problem letting false rumors fly--and I believe he is the one who sat silently while a caller called Obama a racial slur. Obama is not releasing all the prisoners--he is shutting down the facility. Big difference. :argh:

6. He's also allowing them to continue lying about former
detainees returning to the 'battle field'.
