What was he thinking? No matter how you view it, he looks even worse than our governor. and that is hard to do. Bloggo is in a league of his own.

Paterson became governor on March 17th, 2008 after Spitzer resigned. He probably didn't think about it too much, expecting Spitzer to have to be the open to make the decision.

That isn't to say he didn't have ten months, which he clearly did. Ten months should have been plenty of time.
