16 Billion vs 825 Billion? Please help if you have a sec
I got an email from my brother in law this morning.. It looks like a cut a paste job from a website.. not sure which one.. anyway it has all these points about the 825 billion stimulus.. and one of the points is that when Clinton came to office in 93 the unemployment rate was about the same.. his stimulus package was @ 16 billion vs the 825. Where can I find unemployment stats, etc. I did a google search but it sort of overloaded me..
I really need to find a place that has "canned" replies to some of these emails I get all the time. I know some folks are able to just ignore them.. but now I am sort of the family outcast after the election.. (wife and kids still like me though)

1. From BLS

Yes, the Unemployment Rate was similar (about 7.3%). But no one bases economic policy on unemployment rates alone - we have a severe financial crisis not present in 1993.

Where was your brother in law when Bush was spending more than a trillion on the two wars?
