So when the full story comes out about politicians voting because the NSA
(Cheney & Co) had something to hold over their heads - is there any way to "undo" the laws that passed?

My first thoughts were:

Patriot Act
FISA (amnesty edition)
Roberts
Alito

plenty more. And it's really a matter of time now before the details start coming out.

2. What details? The MSM is complicit, big-time.
All Major League Assholes should be kicked into the can.

Power of the press seems to have lost its kick, however.

Pray for sunshine? (No rain dancing.)

3. There is only one way to repeal an existing law: Pass another law
It would also be possible for the Supreme Court to declare a law invalid, but that is much shakier ground, as the Constitution does not allow for a law to be invalidated on the grounds that it was passed legitimately as a result of blackmail, treason or other such reason.

7. very good question!
It might be the parties they attended with Jeff Gannon, or bribes they have taken, or the CIA drugged them and took pictures of them ????

6. Illegal wiretapping is still illegal
The US Congress has violated the Constitution and they should be put in prison or at least fired.

The quickest way to return to the Constitution is for US to go around to conservative boards shouting "Obama has the power to wiretap you" etc. I think it might be the conservatives realizing that Obama has the same power as Bush to finally shut it down. Democrats are too nice(and our leaders are corrupt) but the loonies are usually the loudest.

I also think we should start a DU campaign to bombard Obama with information from the recent Olberman show...maybe he doesn't quite realize what has been going on.

8. Roberts and Alito will stay
There's never been a Supreme Court Justice removed from the bench. It can only be done through impeachment for high crimes (felony) or misdemeanors. The only justice ever impeached was Samuel Chase, but he was acquitted on all charges by the Senate in 1805.

The heart of the allegations against Chase was that political bias had led him to treat defendants in an unfair manner. His acquittal probably helped ensure that federal judges would survive partisan challenge. In short, you can't remove a justice because you don't like his politics.

In addition, Roberts and Alito would've won confirmation even without a single Dem vote. Justices only need a 1/2 senate vote. They both got enough Republican votes to get confirmed.

Roberts roll call vote: http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=109&session=1&vote=00245

Alito roll call vote: http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=109&session=2&vote=00002
