A word of thanks to the mods and admins

This past week, a local Republican crank has been spamming DU with defamtory posts about me. This is the same guy who has sent emails insulting my wife and friends, called my house in the middle of the night, and left whackdoodle flyers on my front door and car windshield.

The mods and admins responded promptly, deleting the noxious posts (he even spammed a thread about an inaugural week service project), and tombstoning at least two of his sock puppets.

It's difficult when a nut is targeting you, but it is reassuring to know that there are good people who are ready to step up and do the right thing.

1. Yep. It's very difficult if you are pursued by an internet stalker or two

3. This guy is something else

He has a newspaper column in a local weekly and a three hour (yes, three hour) cable access show. Now he is showing up at city council meetings and screaming at me, then accusing me of "outbursts" when i ask the presiding officer to rule him out of order.

I need to double up on my protonix before I have an ulcer burning a hole through my gut.

out there than there used to be.

2. I had a guy calling my house in the middle of the night!

The last time he called I fired a "starters pistol" into the phone.that was before caller ID. He never called again. Police can get thier name and address even if they have it blocked.

5. The police are investigating him

On Thanksgiving, there was a death threat posted on another political site. It included the intersection in downtown Manchester where my law office is located, so there wasn't a lot of ambiguity. The police and prosecutor are in the process of obtaining the internet records, which may take a while.
