We've been enjoying a de facto moratorium on Bush/Republican/military-industrial-corporate-media bullshit for these past few weeks.

It got me to thinking about my recently obsoleted bumper stickers. From about 2004-2005: "Bush approved the torture". The DU community knew this four fucking years ago, and it's just rising toward the surface now, in the first day after Obama is in the White House? What gives?

Are we going to have to continue to endure this four year lag from initial propaganda to almost factual common knowledge?
