Has Anybody Else Lost MSNBC On Their Cable Channels (Comcast) ???
Since yesterday, I go to channel 37 on Comcast here in Sacramento, and I get 'snow' where my Olbermann used to be. Channel 38 (CNBC) has now bumped off the Weather Channel on channel 42, and although I still get C-Span 1 on channel 95, C-Span 2 has been replaced by some christian preacher dudes with mile-high hair, on top of mile-high foreheads!!!

Haven't had a chance to call and scream at them yet, course maybe their not done with their tweaking, but is anybody else experiencing similar cable weirdness???

:wtf:

Are the powers that be, pissed at Keith?

1. I have Comcast, and MSNBC is still there.
Must be a local thing.

2. They may have just been switching channels around.
That used to happen from time to time when I had Comcast.

5. NO, watching Olberman repeat now. I did lose cable entirely earlier today
around 10, it was back by noon.

6. Check to see if your cable is securely connected to the TV.
I have this problem now and then. My cable line sometimes gets loose from the back of the TV. When that happens, I loose MSNBC and some other channels. Tightening up the cable connection fixes it right away.

7. If you go to the comcast.net site
you can chat with a tech person live, right now. Perhaps they can help you and if they can't, they can email your issue to the proper department for investigation. I had a serial port issue that went on for almost three weeks (screwed up my tivo - couldn't change the channel with my tivo remote so the service was almost useless as far as pre-set recordings were concerned) and I finally got it repaired after two days of chatting with them online.

Try that and see if they know what the issue might be.

8. I have Comcast
and have been having trouble with MSNBC for several weeks. Sometimes I have green lines in the picture and for 2 days I had no voice. I called Comcast and they said it was a problem with the MSNBC connection. I live in the Chicago suburbs.
