The mark of the Beast - Have you taken it yet? HURRY, SALE ENDS TUESDAY!
Edited on Mon Jan-26-09 12:02 AM by Jeffersons Ghost
If you believe problems in the Mid-East are justified because they signal the end of times (Armageddon) you have the right to worship however you like.

If you believe 666 is the "mark of the beast," you have the right to worship however you like.

CHECK THIS OUT, CELLULAR USERS

Frequency bands

AMPS cellular service operates in the 800 MHZ FM band. For each market area, the FCC allowed two licensee (networks) known as "A" and "B" carriers. Each carrier within a market uses a specified "block" of frequencies consisting of 21 control channels and 395 voice channels. Originally, the B (wireline) side license was usually owned by the local phone company such as a "Baby Bell" (Ameritech), and the A (non-wireline) license was made available to private companies such as Cellular One. At the inception of cellular in 1984, the Federal Communications Commission had granted each carrier within a market 333 channels (666 channels total).

2. Does it even matter that the number in the earliest Biblical sources is actually 616?
Or do we treat all of these looney fantasies as if they are facts?

6. Not at all.
666 would still be the Neighbor of the Beast.

8. LOL! check this out....
oh no, I got $3.00 worth at one gas station and $3.00 in fuel at another. One pump was #6 and the other was at pump number 15, which reduces to a six, in numerology! OMG!!! I AM the Beast!

I stabbed myself, while playing with a knife too.

Who's heard the new Eagles CD Long Road out of Eden?

it's great!

HOTEL CALIFORNIA

The Eagles
On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night
There she stood in the doorway;
I heard the mission bell
And I was thinking to myself,
this could be heaven or this could be hell
Then she lit up a candle and she showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor,
I thought I heard them say...

Welcome to the hotel california
Such a lovely place
Such a lovely face
Plenty of room at the hotel california
Any time of year, you can find it here

Her mind is tiffany-twisted, she got the mercedes bends
She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys, that she calls friends
How they dance in the courtyard, sweet summer sweat.
Some dance to remember, some dance to forget

So I called up the captain,
please bring me my wine
He said, we havent had that spirit here since nineteen sixty nine
And still those voices are calling from far away,
Wake you up in the middle of the night
Just to hear them say...

Welcome to the hotel california
Such a lovely place
Such a lovely face
They livin it up at the hotel california
What a nice surprise, bring your alibis

Mirrors on the ceiling,
The pink champagne on ice
And she said we are all just prisoners here, of our own device
And in the masters chambers,
They gathered for the feast

They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just cant kill the beast

Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
relax, said the night man,
We are programmed to receive.
You can checkout any time you like,
But you can never leave!

10. Considering the spotty, staticky way-too-weak nature of cell phones, if you can clearly HEAR
voices talking to you through it (especially if you can understand what they're saying) -- and they didn't fuzz up/drop out immediately, assuming that it was a supernatural transmission actually makes a lot of sense!

7. Not religious here, but even I have to admit the "mark of the Beast" is not far from us now --
At this point, many typical emotionally-stunted "pet parents" ( :puke: ) are having GPS chips implanted in their little Fidos and Fluffys: before long, your typical helicopter parents will have GPS chips implanted in their kids.

I lost alot that day but I still have a hand-made "mirror" for the "ceiling" with two crescent moons carved on it. I've lost plenty over the past few years but most of all (besides Taffy, my dog) I miss a dagger that a special lady gave me for my birthday.

Who knows where the quote "Oh happy dagger" comes from?

here's a six:

15. when i worked as a cashier
I would occasionally ring up a $6.66 order at the register. I would chuckle and tell the customer..oh look, its 666.
SOME of the customers would hurriedly buy a pack of gum or loaf of bread to change the number ...they take it very seriously.
:P
