OK, what's the story on Diane Sawyer?

There was this discussion on DU yesterday: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=385x264408 where she was on air slurring her words, looking either drunk, hungover or suffering from a stroke.

So this morning I tune in and she's talking a mile a minute, almost rushing her words to show she's OK now.

Can't figure this one out. No explanation from GMA...:shrug:

She was so obviously under the influence! I can't understand such a lapse in her professionalism, but hey I guess it happens...

You'd think that Mike would try to keep her sober the night before so she wouldn't be so impaired in the morning. She's too old to be able to get away with a night of hard drinking and then doing an early morning show. It's a wonder she didn't fall and hurt herself...
