Whereas these blowhards who insist Bush was so fucking great on Terra and kept us safe (except when he didn't) are NEVER challenged by the MSM: Clinton really did keep us safe from the Millennium bomb plot New Year's 2000. The Clinton administration actually listened to the chatter on Echelon, and foiled the plot without ever infringing on our civil rights. And that was 8 years ago--the technology is vastly improved from then.

BartCop suggests that Bush and Bin Laden made a mutual "hands-off" pact: If Bush would let Bin Laden stay free, Osama wouldn't attack in the U.S.

The proof of that is that there has NOT been a terrorism attack in the U.S.

But that's not because of Bush: it CAN'T be, when all it would take for a terrorist attack is one 'suicider' stealing a tanker truck and crashing it into a school or a mall or a public event.

Surely, BartCop reasoned, there are at least three suicide-ready terrorists in this country. Surely, they have connections to Osama, can get orders from him. Surely, given the word, they could begin to crash tankers or poison water supplies starting tomorrow and there's no way the Dept of Homeland Security could do a thing to prevent it.

Surely, all those facts are indisputable. So why haven't there been such attacks? The only possible reason is that Osama doesn't not WANT to attack us.
