Americans United for Separation of Church and State maintains a current list odf legislation involving issues of Church/State separation.
DUer's have witnessed the damage caused by the Bush administration's intermingling of religion and politics. AU maintains a watch on attempts to abrogate the First Amendment, from whichever political direction that assault may come.
If anyone, during these difficult times, is looking for an organization to support AU's cause is an important one.
Here is a link to their site, and a snapshot of current Church/State issues. Writing or calling your congressperson on any of these matters is one of the ways we keep our freedoms!
