I am so fed up with the media and the republicans.

We need to mobilize the grassroots with blanket emails. I don't know if it will do any good, but something has to be done. The Media and the Republicans are controlling the message. Obama can't seem to get through the media filter even when he goes on TV at every opportunity and explains things in detail! The media immediately looks for the controversial angle. I'm so god *amn ticked off!!!! Can someone "talk me down" as Rachel says???????

3. Take a holiday from the media for a few days

Only go to the sites that give information, even if it's liberal sites. Try Huffington Post, here at DU and whatever other sites you like. Put the TV news down and back away from it. You'll find you won't even miss it after a while.

When you do watch anything on TV watch Rachel Maddow and Keith Olberman. They make no pretense about being on the Left, and you'll get to hear some Left MSM going after the Right MSM, especially O'Reilly and Limbaugh. Olberman loves them to pieces and never misses an opportunity to serve them their own petard pie.

They are severely outnumbered in the house by nearly 80 votes. Simple majority wins in House votes. So who is all over the media and the news? The Boner.

Complain, complain, complain. I rarely contact the media anymore, unless I read something particularly egregious, but I do contact Congress people and Senators.
