Apparently this is from the 2004 campaign. Mid way through as you scroll you can find the Excel Docs about "caging" from the "newly installed" USA in Arkansas Tim Griffin.

The call lasted a little longer than it should have been allowed, but I think Bob got through the questions pretty well. Incidentally, I don't know how they got the number, but about 8 or 10 enviro reps were called as the sequence of the callers were recognized. Luckily, none of them were given an opportunity to ask a question.

There were 16 media reps with questions during the call:
1. Eric Barker, Lewiston Tribune
2. Rocky Barker, Idaho Statesman
3. Eva Brandt, Associated Press
4. Kathleen O'Neil, Post-Register News
5. Hal Briton, Seattle Times
6. Will Phinney, Confederated Tribes Bulletin
7. Jeff Barnard, AP
8. Barry Eppeson, Columbia Basin Bulletin
9. Bill Rudolph, NW Fishletter
10. Natalie Henry, Greenwire
11. Eric Robinson, the Columbian (Vancouver, WA)
12. Blaine Harden, Washington Post (NW office)
13. Michelle Cole, The Oregonian
14. Gary G?, Highland Times
15. Mark Engler, Capitol Press
16. Amy Cole, Movable Currents (I suspect an arm of American Rivers)

Bob gave a 10 minute overview following the points, followed by Q&A. The qs focused on a variety of issues--how the opinion achieved no jeopardy for Snake River fall chinook and sockeye, how RSWs work and the project timeframe for their installation, etc., and then evolved into questions about the jeopardy standard, how different from 2000, whether it would lessen the standard for recovery, how the environmental baseline from 2000 changed, how harvest impacted, what about the 199 RPAs in 2000 bi-op.

Disregard my comments, please -- Oops, the entire site in the OP is from 2004.georgewbush.org parody site. D'oh!

8. Even though this is a parody site the EMAILS ARE REAL
Just in case you think they are a hoax because they are on a parody site.

The emails were sent there by mistake by the RNC/GOP. Or at least that is what the working links above the emails reported at the time. I even remember this at the time but had long since forgotten until today.

what you just explained. It was redundant -- (I hadn't had enough caffeine yet!) -- and did not realize that you knew that, until I re-read your OP. My bad.

9. I think the answer to your question is Yes,
although Palast doesn't mention by name. Just that the emails were sent to the wrong email addy.

16. Damm. How could I have missed that the first time around?
At the time we were searching for evidence of caging, not looking at the technical details of server operations.

Excellent catch there, originalpckelly! Thank you!

That site you posted - They had purchased the dot org version of Bush's official reelection domain name, georgewbush.com. One day, the dot org owners decided to check their "catchall" email box and discovered that a bunch of "official" GWB electioneers had sent emails to the dot org email address...

17. from the "Dead Letter Office"
DEAD LETTER OFFICE

E-MAIL FROM THE GEORGEWBUSH.ORG "CATCH-ALL" MAILBOX
OCTOBER, 2004: Recently, we at GeorgeWBush.org happened to notice
that our mail server had a default "catch-all" mailbox, which for
the past several months had been quietly gathering any and all
e-mails addressed to @georgewbush.org. We felt
the need to share.
PLEASE NOTE: Full e-mail headers have not been included on all
e-mails below purely for the sake of readability. In response to
requests however, sample headers have been added here and here and
here and here.
10.26.2004: Readers may be interested to learn that the "caging"
e-mails below (one and two) are indeed the same documents referenced
in Greg Palast's latest BBC Newsnight investigation. We sent them to
him last week prior to assembling this page.

Apparently that IS exactly what happened. Like I said I remember this happening at the time but with soooooo many scandals to keep track of this one fell through the memory hole.

19. I can't believe I read the whole thing.
Caging lists, and also some CSV files that I'm guessing are volunteer lists. They include phone numbers.

Also, there are strategy memos relating to various states and pollwatching activities.

21. Something I found quite interesting in the docs
and that is in the pdf's titled ibc. I opened that one up and :wow: ibc stands for Iraqi Body Count. And here all this time I didn't think they cared about body bags.
