I hope Fitz waits until after we elect a Dem president to indict Darth.

That is because, under a Dem pres., Cheney would have zero chance of being pardoned if convicted of treason. If Fitz were to indict him anytime between now and the 2009 inauguration, we all know Cheney would walk. One thing I'm not clear about, however, is if * could give Cheney a pardon before he is even indicted. It seems to me that Ford did something like that for Nixon.

1. Fitz will only indict Cheney if he has enough evidence and feels

he can make a case. Fitz is apolitical as he should be. He will not
let who is or is not in the White House effect his actions.

bush and Cheney are now hanging on for dear life. They are
firing U.S. attorneys and are running around now trying to put out
all kinds of fires. More Indictments now would really hurt the
White House.

I think it is funny that Rove, Ari, and others have all rolled on Cheney
and Libby. Very soon Cheney will be seen as such a liability to the
White House he will be gone.

Fitz's history is good. When he went after the Mob started small and wound up w/
over one hundred indictments ..... same with Gov. Ryan of Illinois.
