3. Here's the official report from the AVO

Intense seismicity continues at Redoubt this afternoon. Clear webcam views, satellite, and radar data from earlier today indicate that the volcano has not yet erupted.

Clouds have moved in to obscure the webcam view over the last hour.

An AVO observation flight returned in the last hour and reports no sign of ash emission, but observed significant steaming from a new melt depression at the mouth of the summit crater near the vent area of the 1989-90 eruption.

The Aviation Color Code remains at ORANGE and the Volcano Alert Level remains at WATCH.

Shouldn't she be home heading up any emergency services that might be needed, especially when her trip was only to raise PAC money for her personal travel expenses and eat dinner with the new President who she smeared and lied about?

I would think a lot of Alaskans would be pissed she is not there during an event like this.

8. She's probably not too concerned about it.

In reality, we're not too concerned about it either, having been through this routine several times over the past years. People on the Kenai Peninsula could conceivably get quite a bit of ash, but the media has been very diligent about "what to do" and it's unlikely that this will be life-threatening in any way. Basically, when these things go off, it's just a big mess, and with the snow now, it'll be less of a mess than in the summer.

Seismicity has declined greatly over the past 90 minutes, although activity is still well above normal background levels.
