hopefully Daschle's nomination fails and Obama decides to nominate Howard Dean.
sorry if that sounds bad. but Howard Dean would be lightyears better than Daschle.

1. I don't think Dean will have a role in this administration
He'll be put out to pasture in some university role as a professor.

2. I agree with you. Howard has first hand knowledge of how the
health care system is not working, and he also has a number of years successfully working with getting public support for things. I was no Daschel fan, even when he was the majority leader. Way too wet noodle for me!

4. Well, I wouldn't put it past the Dems
to once again fuck up.

After all, it was Dean's 50-state strategy that got us where we are now. And the DNC just laid off 200 field organizers I heard. If that is true, once again the Dems are going to demonstrate how good they are at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

even if Dachle's nomination were to fail i don't think they would replace him with Dean.
