Why? Because he thought abortion was on the whole a positive thing that controlled overpopulation, and resulted in fewer poor children being born, meaning fewer welfare dependents that his taxes would have to pay for.

He also once said to me that if his girlfriend were ever impregnated that he would "order" her to get an abortion because he was not yet interested in having kids.

This guy was a Republican because he was militantly anti-tax and anti-social welfare programs. I always tell people that the only pro-abortion person I ever met was a conservative Republican.

2. To tell the truth I have read a number of threads and posts here at DU that appear
more pro-abortion than pro-choice.

4. If your description is accurate I would predict that most of them were probably right-wing trolls.

3. Only a rightwingnut man
would ever be "pro-abortion."

It does require a certain level of madness.
