Air force is spending 38 million dollars for a bomb.

It would seem this bomb has a very specific application.

"The US Air Force is spending $38 million on one of the heaviest bombs ever built, brawny enough to theoretically muscle its way into the side of a mountain or the stoutest of bunkers."

1. To quote Judd Hirsch in "Independence Day"...
when asked by Jeff Goldblum where all of the money came from for the covert Area 51 operations,

'You don't really think they spend $1000 on a hammer do you?'

4. 1000$ for a hammer? No. But a toilet seat, I believe that.
This bomb, however seems to made for Iran.

2. We have to replace these knuckle draggers with diplomats.

War and violence begets war and violence.

You have noticed that all these new bigger and better weapons are not for defense of this country, but for attacks on other countries because we say they are doing something that we (read The Pentagon/Military) don't like.

How many countries have we threated, then backed off for a while, then go after again with proof that they are building up their defenses?

3. K&R
That's where all the money goes in this country.

$1 trillion/yr to the US Military. That's who runs this country.

5.  I don't understand how one bomb can cost so much
Or what we need another bomb for . It probably is for Iran .

I can't tell you how sick I am of this country and their stinking war machine .

I went from the horrors of the cuban missile crisis to nam to the damn gulf war to the attack on Iraq and the Iran contra lie as many of you did and I had enough in the 60's .

$38 million , what is this death device made of ? I know it's designed for massive death and destruction .

8. And next year it will be obsolete and they will need another $38 million.
Which we will give them. And then the darn thing will never work any way.
