Demint is a prime example of Republican economic radicalism. He offered nothing of merit, tried to blame government for the financial crisis and laughed when Barney Frank stated the obvious and said that it wasn't overregulation that caused the problem and tax cuts won't fix it.

You can't really work with people who have no clue and stick to a radical ideology. You can't really placate them. Maybe they have a few minor ideas that can be beneficial, but overall, they have nothing. They are dangerous and it's frightening that their ideas are even taken seriously.

His arguments sounded as ridiculous as they were and it seemed that none of the other guests paid much attention to what he said. Bernie Sanders on the other hand was fabulous. "I've never seen a tax cut build a bridge or fix a road."
