I say "add more decent paying jobs and not a penny in taxes needs TO be raised"
As there is a larger tax base, it removes any need to increase the tax load on those who have jobs.

Where am I wrong?

1. What do you consider to be "decent" ?
Curious as to how you would define "living wage"

3. The tax base has been segued from the rich to to the rest of us.
That needs to be corrected as it is the rich has the money supply now, but it is the middle class that supports and maintains the economy. The rich are keeping the money by witness of the banks not lending. That needs to change. Either force the banks to lend money again or better yet, the government puts money directly into small and middle sized business to jump start the economy.
