Warning!! Super Bowl Post!!
Why the Steelers will win: DEFENSE. Warner, a drop-back QB, is too old and slow for #1 Steeler D. Discuss!

:bounce: :hi: :fistbump:

P.S. Very cool Steeler song - a remake of Pat Benatar's "Heartbreaker" by The Poprocks. 11-13 year old kids!

9. You're Rooting Against Our President!
President Obama wants the Steelers to win. There may not be Red States or Blue States, but in this game the Cardinals are Red and the Steelers are blue.

13. What I want is some damn money
I'm in three pools, including one winner take all pool, and I'd really like to win some money. So c'mon numbers!
Warner is an Iowa guy who I have met, but his church thing is getting out of control. He does good things with his money and does indeed walk the walk as well as talk the talk, but he needs to keep it to himself and not try and force it down our throats. But he is a helluva qb and if the Steelers blitz, he could tear them apart. He knows how to read defenses. But I still think the Steelers will win and win big. But as I stated earlier in this somewhat incoherent post, I want money!

14. It really depends on Warner.
If he does well, it will be close. If the Steelers can get to him, the Steelers win. The Cardinals are in a bad place, they're depending on one man, while the Steelers have many weapons.

My prediction: Steelers 31, Cardinals anywhere from 3 to 33.

18. 17-7 at the half.
Off a Steeler interception.

Warner is looking ok, but the defense got the ball away from him.

I stand by my earlier prediction: The Steelers D will dominate, or Warner will turn it into a shootout. Steelers 31, Cardinals somewhere between 10 and 33.

15. I think the Cards are going to win
not rooting for them but a team that can put that many points on the board can win any game. The Steelers like a game in the mid 20's but Arizona needs to just have the attitude that the game is going to be long (it will) and that they ARE going to put up 40 or so-Pittsburgh can't hang with that kind of game....

I think Rothlisberger Ward Parker AND Poliamaulu are hurt more than they have let on. Both teams have been able to get fairly well rested as they played 2 games in 5 weeks but the Cards have had their playoff spot sewn up for almost 10 weeks and they CLEARLY didn't show up to play the Pats so they will be fresher and faster.

I have a horrific record of picking football games so keep that in mind.

16. Didn't the Cards also tear apart the Panthers and Eagles defenses?
I seem to recall those two teams also having good pass defenses, each ranked in the top eight.

I think it will be a matter if the Cardinals' defense can stop the Steelers' offense.

If they can't, then Pittsburgh wins easily. If they can, then the Cardinals have a 50/50 shot of winning.

down their backs, and in braids, or curly, or ponytails? Last time I watched a ballgame, being a "jock" meant having a crew cut, LOL ! :wtf:
