Exploding The Myth Of A Liberal/Anti-Corporate Media
Edited on Mon Feb-02-09 12:29 AM by Median Democrat
Do you ever wonder why the GOP, Fox News and the MSM always seem to complain or run stories about the alleged "liberal" media? Ever wonder why the Republicans are given so much face time to push their anti-tax agenda with no journalists having the guts to point out that it didn't work under Bush? Ever wonder why the media behaves likes such sheep in response to Republican lies trying to blame the Democrats for the past 8 years?

Most importantly, ever wonder why you NEVER, EVER hear the MSM ask whether the media might actually have a right wing corporate bias? Why?

Its because it is the great ongoing cover-up. The reason why the MSM loves to run stories about its alleged liberal bias is to cover-up its right wing, pro-corporate bias. The media is corporate run. Why would it be biased against corporations? Yet, you never see any media outlet question whether they are biased due to their corporate ownership. Most media in the United States is run by just five large corporations. You can't get away from it. They hold the real power, and before the year is over, they will have succeeded in convincing Americans that the economic crisus was caused by Obama and the Democrats, and the only cure is to adopt tax cuts, and drill off shore. The MSM is simply doing the bidding of its corporate owners, and the best way to cover-up such bias, is to run stories continuously about the media's "liberal" bias. Yup, it will be like Bush never left.

1. Add - This Is Why We Still Need Grassroots - To Fight The Corporate Media
The only reason why Obama won was because of the grassroots effort to overcome the corporate brainwashing going on in the media. The media relentlessly hammered at the idea that the media had a liberal bias, and no one of course, was going to breach taboo and point out that the media was owned by the same corporations that the alleged liberal media hates. The so-called liberal media blindly replayed idiotic attacks on Obama's patriotism, repeated rumors that he was a muslim, and repeated charges that Obama was a socialist without any serious examination. Now, the MSM is doing it again.

Americans will need to fight back, because the MSM will once again assert its control unless we fight back. People who are losing their jobs are not receiving an income that can be taxes, so how do tax cuts help them. The banks that received tax breaks will simply horde the money. Yet, unless Democrats are willng to continue to work, the corporate media will work overtime to convince us that what we need are more Bush policies.
