...doesn't that kind of, sort of, show that pot cannot be THAT devastating to ones health?

It is a huge waste of tax payer money to keep a simple weed criminalized.
If we legalized it and sold it like the demon alcohol, it would help in this crashing economy and give the US one export product. Well, it is a start.

4. I do not get the todo on Pot and I am an old lady. who cares. |
|
When I lived in Ak. it was OK to smoke it and grow your own. Hot Houses were big business. Did not seem to do a thing to the state or the people who did it. I never did it as I smoke and figured with my luck I would like it so best not start. Frankly I was more worried about pills doctors were giving to people who were on the road in cars that I had to face every day. Plus what about all those pills kids are taking and not one learning the common things they have to face to live in this world. Now that is scary. If doctors gave us pot I bet it would be OK. Every one would get their cut that way.

11. I think they stopped it in the late 1980's |

I lived in Ak 10 years and the Churches were taking over the state for the whole time I was in the state. I have never in my life run into so many crooks who wore God on their sleeves and carried their Bible and would openly steal from you. Having grown up going to church I was really shocked. Getting the bars shut early and Pot gone were some of their aims. It was very hard to do any bus. with these people as they felt they could do any thing as they had talked to God about it and it was Ok. Now should I hide? It is how I saw it. :hide:

5. The fact that someone may lose endorsements and has to issue a public mea culpa..... |
|
....for smoking a little of the herb proves that the only thing criminal is the marijuana laws and the Puritanical silliness behind them.

6. Depends on how much one smokes |
|
Smoking it on a daily basis might undermine one's athletic performances. But occasionally on a social basis probably not.

|

After all, what will we tell the children?
Personally, I think it's time we stop worshiping sports stars as minigods and just admit that they are human beings like the rest of us.
