2. I can identify...

we have 3 TVs at our house---one of them is digital, the other two are old. We have an antenna in our attic which has always done the trick. After hooking up converter boxes to the two old sets, we can pick up all of the channels on our main TV (old one), fewer channels on the other old set, and even fewer channels on our digital set. They are all hooked up to the same antenna, so go figure...
I refuse to get cable TV---don't need another monthly bill right now.

4. Not jumping on the DTV bandwagon here

We get our news from the internet since the corporate media is propaganda 24/7. We don't have cable & not getting it. The shows we do watch, we can pick up on DVD from Netflix or buy. You Tube keeps my KO & Daily Show addictions under control. So we're all set.

6. I know, TV is so last century. I think the last time my wife and I turned ours on

was to watch a DVD. Any viewing I feel the need to view comes via the Internet.

Why pay two sources of programming when one will do? major scam and the american public feeds into it.

5. I have my converter boxes but they scare me.

I always go a little nuts with wires and cables. How do I plug in the vcr to this mess? And I've been using rabbit ears on a splitter between two tvs. I'm guessing that won't work anymore. Meantime, I'm on the second floor of a brownstone surrounded by way taller buildings.

And I'm getting nervous about it.

8. My signal is too weak for the converter box AND the antenna. nt
