1. I'm sure CNN is going to tell us..

how tax-cuts stimulate the economy, and how any kind of social program...like extending unemployment benefits does not. It all depends on whose pockets the money is going in to.

Tax Cuts have proved to provide very Limited Stimuli compared to Spending on Infrastructure or especially Health Care costs..yet Tax Cuts will be a majority of the Bill just to win Republican support.

The problem is, no one in Washington is listening and instead of spending our money on things that directly stimulate the economy, they are instead spending our money on anything and everything they ever wanted, yet couldn't afford.

They are acting like an idiot who jut received his first credit card.

Of course no one wants stuff in the bill that doesn't stimulate the economy. But of course every person has their own opinion on what, does or doesn't stimulate the economy. The poll no doubt will be spun to show the democrats are "wasting" money on non-related projects, when the poll doesn't show that at all.

9. Only $90 billion for infrastructure spread out over many years

That's not the economic "jolt" to the economy that Obama called for.

We need at least 800 billion spent in two years for public works in order to have a meaningful and obvious positive impact on the economy.

Cut the tax cuts in half (at least) and cut other programs that do not creat jobs outside of food stamps and unemployment benefits that working people need.

The pitiful economic "stimulus" proposed in the House (and probably the Senate) have given Republicans a hammer to attack the Democratic proposal.

Obama should have presented a clear stimulus proposal to the House and Senate rather than have Pelosi and Reid write one.
