No matter how many times you hit "SPAM" these messages are back again --

The other day we had one from the IRS ... !!!

Just contacted my Senators asking why they don't stop this?

If they can't, why not . . . ??

This is FRAUD -- and certainly Congress should stop it -- and can stop it!!

11. Yes . . . however, there are people who will be fooled by them ...and should be stopped, IMO.
This is, of course, just like the now limited but still annoying

fake phone calls that still get thru, the piles of junk mail every

day -- and this crap e-mail. It should be stopped.

4. Phishing. Get them all the time. Everyone beware of
anything like this that you receive in your email. These are designed to separate you from your money. Don't fall for it.

5. I get BS like that often enough. I always immediately contact the
referenced entity to let them know they need to check into it. All of them have been quite grateful.

NEVER CLICK ON AN EMAIL LINK, especially to a financial site of any kind!

9. And I get scam job offers too
Don't get busted. My last phising Email was a masterpiece, they even made it look like my legitimate bank front page. MailWasher identified it immediately as a scam and marked it "delete" from server before it hit my Email program.

12. As far as I know the companies can't be bothered with it ---
they will tell you it's phishing -- and they don't contact people

by mail for personal info. The do nothing about it.

Keep warning about it tho cause someone must be responding or

they wouldn't be doing it any longer!

6. And I have received two today.
One from CITI (which I don't have any account with and one from Bank of America, which I do. Both of them are telling me my online account is blocked because of too many failed attempts to log in. Of course they will be happy to help me by "Click here". I hate to think of people that aren't aware this is a scam and hand out their information. It is happening more and more.

7. I use gmail...
And they are real good at filtering spam. In the three years I've used it, I think I've only gotten a handful of items that were spam and did not go directly to the spam folder.
