Regan's attitude to our side was essentially "I'm a happy go lucky cold warrior and you're a schmucky commie. Fuck you. I'm a happy go lucky supply sider and you're a schmucky commie. Fuck you"

Poppy's attitude was a facade of kindness and gentleness masking a truly malevolent heart that gave our side NOTHING.

Clinton was at war with the Republicans from before his first inauguration. They were outrageous and relentless in their partisanship, right up to the impeachment over a blow job.

Surely the scars of the Bush The Lesser era have yet to even scab over.

So ..... the question in the thread title: Name just one act of fairness or bipartisanship the Repubs did any time in the last 28 years,

...and still not find republicans acting out of fairness or bipartisanship. They acted for the good of the country out of embarrassment especially when it came time to impeach Nixon over the criminal cover ups.

Some repubs saw the Clinpeachment as payback for what we did to Nixon. It is in that sense that I thought you were saying the Clinpeachment was bipartisan.

The vote to acquit Clinton was, yup, more or less bipartisan.
