1. Because given a choice to turn on a single mom or on Wall Street

2. That's what I was thinking.
Because it's easier to blame a single person than it is to blame the company that gives Americans so much blah, blah, blah, etc.

3. Why does it have to be a choice?
I mean, if the choice is between protesting at her house or on Wall Street, then yeah, there's something fucked up. But if you're just posting on the internet, why not post in whatever thread you want to post in? Is it going to make things any better if we only post in one certain type of thread and refuse to talk about anything else?

It's just that I know my brain is capable of handling more than one thing at once and that I can sit here at my computer and think about all sorts of things that include both the current economic situation and the issues that the octuplets brought out in people. Personally, I think they can go together. Note all the people going on about the taxpayers paying for the kids and how that throws a psychological light on where we are now (as in "I'm cool with my tax money making incredibly rich people richer and buying weapons to kill people, but how dare it be used to provide necessities for poor people?!"). Plus you can also talk about overpopulation and how that contributes to current global problems and there's some religious and moral issues to talk about too.

But I don't know, I guess that there are people who are only capable of thinking of one thing at a time because posts haranguing people for not restricting the totality of their posts on the internet to the poster's pet topic show up quite a bit.

4. While you may be able to do more than one thing at a time ...
... you know full well the GOP-controlled media will not.

You know the GOP-controlled media goes after the most sensational story at the detriment to important stories.

So, while we can post in whichever post we want, you know which story the GOP-controlled media will be concentrating on.

One more thing: http://www.googlefight.com/index.php?lang=en_GB&word1=California+octuplets+mother&word2=banker+CEO+bonuses
