Elizabeth and John Edwards to be on 60 Minutes Sunday

Friends of the Edwards Family:

Elizabeth and John wanted me to tell you about a TV appearance that will be broadcast on Sunday night. They'll sit down for an interview on 60 Minutes with Katie Couric. The program is scheduled to air Sunday at 7:00 PM ET.

In some parts of the country, 60 Minutes may be delayed by the UNC basketball game. We hope you'll still tune in. You can be sure the Edwards family will be cheering on the Tar Heels like they always do.

Thanks again for your outpouring of support in the last few days. We'll be in touch this week with several important updates from the campaign trail.

3. If you live in an area with the UNC basketball game

don't be surprised if it drags on and on and on. My experience has been that most basketball games take longer than the allotted TV airtime to play out, and that five minutes on the clock equals 15 minutes of actual playing time, due to the number of times the clock gets stopped. And don't even talk to me about overtime.

since Georgetown is playing UNC - so I'm guessing a lot of the East Coast will ahve the basketball game?

come on people- this will be a good interview- even though I'm not a Katie Couric fan, she has experience losing a spouse to cancer and will bring some realism to the interview.
