Listen to the applause, and the reaction of the audience, these brainwashed nuts did not cheer the guy throwing shoes but the dictator on the stage. And by the way, this is supposed to be one of the more populist people in the Chinese power structure. The shoe thrower is lucky it he did it in the UK, because if it were China, then it would be, "There was no shoe thrower, there never was a shoe thrower, and there can be no you if you ask more questions."

We should feel solidarity with China's people, we too are the victims of their government's corruption, as well as the manipulation of an oligarchy. The difference is that our oligarchy will let you say anything, to make you think you have freedom of speech, but then they just don't listen to you.

China's approach is different.
