I'm a Democrat and I am SURE feelin' underground these days.
I don't even feel like I exist anymore. Surely no one is noticing me anymore. Me or millions like me. Liberals and Democrats all. Not radicals. Just angry, abandoned Democrats left on the shoulder as the bus roars down the road toward Centerville.

1. Obama cares about approval ratings, and won't sacrifice them
for something as insignificant like rescuing our economy.

6. That's BS - If You Watched His Interview
during the Super Bowl - he said if the economy doesn't improve - he expects he'll be a one term POTUS.

He also said that he counterpunches if people
take advantage of his good faith efforts.

Apparently that doesn't apply to Congressional Republicans.

2. I hear ya, bud.
And even worse, the bus is kicking up all kinds of mud and shit and splattering me with it as it drives off.

3. "as the bus roars down the road toward Centerville..."
which, ironically, isn't even the center, but simply a different shade of RW Fascism. A quasi-friendlier fascism, if you will.

Yes, I feel like I'm on that bus as well, screaming like mad that we're headed for a cliff, which the folks driving the bus ignore me entirely and fixate instead on the cliff before them, which they apparently do not recognize.

8. Bingo
There is no "center." What people are calling "the center" is about 10 steps to the right of Richard Nixon.

5. I'm wondering if this is a campaign for 2012
Perhaps he'll play to the center for four long years. A permanent campaign 'til that election.

Sigh.

10. The fact is, if what Obama does doesn't get us significantly better off by then
He might as well not bother running. The sad thing is, if he fails by being to centrist/rw in his policies, the average American will just follow the MSM hype and vote in another RW bozo who will go even more towards corporate fascism. Not the other direction.

7. And it really pissed me off when I heard that Obama was the "most liberal" senator.
And they still think that he's some sort of leftist or socialist. :sigh:

9. If Obama is a leftist -- or even a liberal
Then, I'm to the left of Lenin.

16. You're not used to this? You maybe expected something different??
You want radical changes to the system itself without radical vision and leadership?
