(Reuters) - Ford Motor Co on Tuesday said its U.S.
sales fell 42 percent in January.

Highlights:

* Says strong F-series, fusion sales drive Ford to
higher retail

share for fourth consecutive month

* Strong f-series, fusion sales drive Ford to higher
retail share for fourth

consecutive month

* January U.S. sales down 42.1 percent

* January U.S. total sales 90,596 units

* Says January inventories totaled 420,000 vehicles,
down 156,000 from prior year
