Another observation is how it seems to be ONLY Democrats who have "tax problems."

I wonder why no press expose on Republican members of Congress during the Bush disaster? All Republicans pay their taxes? Somehow I doubt that.

I have an idea. Lets audit every member of Congress as a prerequisite for holding office.

Per republican logic, the last eight years and george bush never existed and there was no deficit on 20 January 2009.

Quibbling over about $19 billion out of an $818 billion package. And some of their quibbles are just plain nuts. F'rinstance, they're all jacked out of shape about some money being used to buy hybrids for the government vehicle fleet. These cars need to be replaced some time, and aren't the automakers in need of a little shoring up right about now? This looks like the classic win-win-win scenario: Better, more fuel-efficient cars for the fleet; a shot in the arm for the auto industry; lower per-mile vehicle costs.

But the Republicans have chosen this to make a stink about. Uhm . . . okay.
