Is if they took a pledge to never work as an exec, board member, lobbyist, consultant, or anything else for any corporations for the rest of their lives.

I think cabinet members get a nice pension.

If that isn't enough for someone, they should stay in the private sector instead instead of coming to the public sector to milk the treasury for their past or future employers.

If you have a job that pays $100K sandwiched between two jobs that pay five times as much, is it reasonable to ask whether your loyalties were really to that $100K job or to your prior or later job?
