Imagine if some bank CEOs donated their salaries to charities?

I would bank with them. Most of these guys could live for years without a salary. The good PR would set an example for others that are very well off to follow. The deal about junkets with Wells Fargo makes me want to end my small company's account there.

2. Some of the charities are as bad as the banks.

They only have to use a third of what they collect for actual charity relief. Many of their CEO's are overpaid as well. Look up what Libby Dole got paid when she headed the Red Cross. Also, fund raising eats up a good chunk of the charity money. As far as Wells Fargo, I found them to be one of the worst banks to deal with going back to the early eighties. They weren't very accurate in doing their accounts.
