Anyone know how Ted Kennedy is doing these days?

One of the things that makes me sad about the whole Daschle debacle is Kennedy worked so hard to get things going early.

1. Why do politicians not realize that they're going to be called on whatever is wrong in their lives?

Are they on drugs or something?

On the other hand, why come down so hard on Daschle for something that I'm sure if Republicans were audited, we'd find as well? Also, we shouldn't come down hard on Democrats for something this small when what we found in Republicans in the past 8 years is worthy of sending them to prison, and even the death penalty for treason.
