Today it is Kit Bond going after Panetta. The same oh-so-reasonable sounding 'concerns' around which they have asked for more information. Right now they want to know who has contributed to the Panetta Institute and how much they gave.

The there is the vague concern that the 'problems' at CIA "go back to the 90s".

I can't believe that Obama wasn't aware of this. After all, Center for American Progress was in charge of his transition team. It's amazing. Hard to know what to think about the "broken and bankrupt Repugs" somehow managing to throw wrenchs and screwdrivers into Dem Legislation and dance around like happy devils, while they do it. They even managed to get one of their own into Commerce Department ...a person who was on with Larry Kudlow on CNBC today saying in talking with Obama about his nomination for HHS they both agreed that Entitlements are a priority for reform.

12. I don't know-- I have to say Obama's really impressed me with his

ability to play politics. I have to wonder if this whole public struggle for bipartisanship is going to culminate in a bit of political theater. It seems to me that he could neuter these people by letting them spend all their political capital obstructing things, then turn around and appeal to the public.
