1. That's a no brainer.
A doctor who gives up his practice to serve the people or a DLC political opportunist.

13. Jesus in charge of health care would be great.
Instant healing.... no paperwork. no drugs. no insurance.

But somebody would make a big deal out of church/state separation, so He's not likely to pass confirmation. :(

14. Oh yeah, he wouldn't pass...
But I was also talking about Baby Jesus. You know, the cute blonde haired, blue eyed baby boy in the manger. He didn't know how to heal yet, but really, who could you trust more than Baby Jesus?

16. Obama did a pretty good job of distancing himself from the DLC during the campaign
probably because he knew they were radioactive with the people he needed to be foot soldiers for his campaign.

23. So how's that whole 'enlightened dictator' thing working out for you? Or can you still have opinions
...

I bet Obama won't break up with you if you disagree with him.

4. I think it will take both.
When dealing with the GOP it doesn't hurt to have a variety of talent at hand.

5. I expected this poll to be a bit lopsided before opening the thread, but 95% to 5% ?
Being that lopsided surprised me, I'll admit.

As the saying goes, He may be a sunovabitch but he's OUR sunovabitch.

18. I voted for Obama, but during the campaign he distanced himself from DLCers
the point here is when he has a choice, he should pick people the rank and file trust, not just the corporate approved Democrats.

Sure is getting to the point where we're all done with you.

21. I was thinking of a variation of this poll that got a lot of hits:
Later threads like this got locked, but the point is important--Democrats are progressives. The DLC dress up like Democrats, get elected them pursue the agenda of Wall Street and corporations. Like the GOP, if they were honest about who they are, they would not hold office.
