second tier people. They can't do worse, certainly.

26. The tool kept talking about them moving to "unregulated" corporations.
I'm not sure what he means by that. Does he mean a corporation based offshore, or not subject to the salary cap because it isn't receiving any bailout money?

But why would an unregulated company want to hire someone who brought down their previous employer?

Oh, the crooked exec would be sharing the same cell as the crooked dope dealer* or wife beater. Can't have that.

Russ Cargill: There's a couple of things they don't teach you in Harvard Business School, one is how to cope with defeat, the other is how to handle a shotgun, I'm going to do both right now.

EPA Official: S-sir, I'm afraid you've gone mad with power...
Russ Cargill: Of course I have. You ever tried going mad without power? It's boring. No one listens to you!

Moe: What are you telling us, were trapped like rats?
Russ Cargill: No, rats can't be trapped this easily, you're trapped like... carrots.

Russ Cargill: Your government has realized that sealing you under this dome was a terrible mistake. Therefore, we are commencing with Operation Soaring Eagle
(crowd cheers)
Russ Cargill: ... which involves killing you all.

28. Well that's exactly the issue...
...they really think they are just one step down from god-hood -- if that. That is why they cannot comprehend anyone telling them to curb their profligate ways. It is utterly humiliating to these sorts to contemplate answering in any way whatsoever to the Little People -- the very Little People whose taxes are propping up their failed "businesses" (read: fraudulent criminal enterprises).

These people need more than a slap upside the head to come to their senses. They believe themselves to be above the riff raff -- where "riff raff" == the 99% of the population that does not live in the lap of luxury like themselves.

There are a whole lot of Masters of the Universe types who ought to be heading to jail, rather than complaining that they can only rake in half a million this year.

Geez, what jackasses.

Where does he get the idea that "the best people" are the biggest greedheads? That idiot is probably the only person left on the planet who thinks they aren't as replaceable as anyone else. In fact, their companies would be a lot better off if they WERE replaced by people willing to work for a measly half million a year!

Yes, that is who they are looking for.

This is ridicules.

52. Well, WHAT THE FLYING POTROAST HAPPENS when they devalue or offshore jobs?
Nobody wants to learn IT anymore; because there's no pay in it and the stressors involved are as much torture as anything else. Especially when product quality is S.H.I.T..

And to how many qualified people do those jobs go? Some, no question, but it's sure as heck not ALL. Too many complaints about service and product quality speak for themselves.

Just wait as other professions such as the legal industry start to flow like a severed artery.

And the cost of higher education; if the suits running those proverbial casinos think they are entitled to 7~15% annual tuition hikes so they can buy another mink rug for their home, it's going to bite them up their Pikachu too.

(If I had a lightning bolt burning my butt, I'd be frowning too.)

America IS eating its young. Like a flesh eating virus, I regret to say. :(
