Let's face it. How many people can shoot someone in the face and then tell the cops to come talk to him about it tomorrow?

There were secret service agents with him. At some point, you'd think that one of them would have the courage/decency/patriotism to come forward and tell us the truth about one of the worst abominations to ever occupy the office of VP.
