Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Cherry Pepsi, Pepsi One.......Pepsi Gay?
 from, you know it, the American Family Assn:

Pepsi TV ad pushing gay lifestyle

Watch the TV ad

January 26, 2009

Pepsi is now using its TV spots to promote the gay lifestyle. AFA asked Pepsi to remain neutral in the culture war. Pepsi refused. The company said it will continue major financial support of homosexual organizations seeking to legalize homosexual marriage.

Pepsi gave $500,000 to the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the largest and most powerful gay lobbying group in America. The company also gave $500,000 to Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG). The total gift of $1,000,000 to the two homosexual activist groups was to help promote the gay lifestyle in the workplace.

After Pepsi gave their money to HRC, HRC gave $2.3 million to oppose California’s Prop 8, an initiative which defined marriage as being between one man and one woman.

Pepsi also forces its employees to attend sexual orientation and gender identity diversity training, where they are taught to accept homosexuality.

Take Action!
Watch the 30-second TV ad.
• If you haven’t already done so, sign the Boycott Pepsi Pledge.
• After signing the pledge, please call Pepsi (914-253-2000 or 1-800-433-2652) and tell the company you will boycott its products until its stops promoting the gay agenda. Please be polite.
• Pepsi’s products include Pepsi soft drinks, Frito-Lay chips (800-352-4477), Tropicana (800-237-7799), and Gatorade (800-367-6287).
• Print and distribute the Boycott Pepsi Petition to family, friends, fellow church members, and others. Millions of people are not aware of Pepsi’s support of the gay lifestyle.
• Join our cause on Facebook

This boycott has nothing to do with whether or not Pepsi hires homosexuals, or if homosexuals purchase Pepsi products, or how Pepsi treats its homosexual employees. This boycott is about the fact that, as a corporation, Pepsi is promoting the gay lifestyle.

5. They are going after Pepsi because their ads were overtly "Obama"
and since they hate Obama but it is easier to PUBLICLY hate gays, they are attacking them from this vantage point.

8. Naaah. The AFA boycotts every damn company that interacts with us.
I don't think they care about Obama one way or the other. They just hate gay people with a white hot passion and have for decades now.

The new logo is eerily similar to Obama's, and that makes the reich wing rabid.

11. That's one of my favorite commercials ever......
.... A bit sugary sweet, but it makes me feel good: "I'd like to teach the world to sing, in perfect harmony. I'd like to buy the world a Coke and keep it company."

13. There's a "gay lifestyle"?
Well, hell, does this mean I'm living a "straight lifestyle"? If so, how do I account for owning a couple of pairs of hiking boots.

Frankly, I wonder what I'm concealing.

When I found out how gay-friendly Pepsi was, I finished up the Diet Coke around here and bought five 12-packs of Diet Pepsi. Good stuff. It'll be a staple in this home from now on.

Just because of their stance. And that they're pissing off those nimrod bigots at the AFA.

23. I remember that commercial. That was recent.
Edited on Wed Feb-04-09 11:43 PM by Sheets of Easter
It was a Heinz Deli Mayo commercial, a product that is NOT EVEN SOLD IN THE STATES.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=nLNPdZPSII0

It didn't promote the "gay lifestyle" (god, I hate that term). It was an ironically witty commercial with an American deli owner archetype playing the "Mum" role, and anybody with half a brain (which is about half more than the AFA as a whole) would realize that.

..... at one time, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut were part of the Pepsi empire, methinks.

... Pepsi Corp owns several "brands:"
Pepsi, Tropicana, Frito-Lay, Quaker, and Gatorade.

So there's more to Pepsi than soft drinks.
