Fucking Cheney. He's worse than the devil himself. He's out of office, so his fucking piehole should either be in prison or sucking up dirt. I have no objection to either of those scenarios.

Cheney Predicts ‘Probability’ of Attack

By MICHAEL FALCONE
Published: February 4, 2009

WASHINGTON — In an interview two weeks after leaving office, former Vice President Dick Cheney predicted a “high probability” of a nuclear or biological attack in the next few years and said the Obama administration was approaching a “tough, mean, dirty, nasty business” of keeping the country safe from terrorists too timidly.

Mr. Cheney singled out Mr. Obama’s decision to close the detention facility at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, and to ban coercive interrogation methods as changes in course that could make the country more vulnerable. He also sought to justify the Bush terrorist surveillance program and the antiterrorism legislation called the USA Patriot Act.

“Those policies we put in place, in my opinion, were absolutely crucial to getting us through the last seven-plus years without a major-casualty attack on the U.S.,” he told Politico.

<snip>

Mr. Cheney was unapologetic about the previous administration’s failure to head off the economic downturn that began to take shape on Mr. Bush’s watch.

“We did worry about it, to some extent,” he said. “I don’t think anybody actually foresaw something of this size and dimension occurring.”

A lot of people here did.
Paul Krugman did.
A 30 year old unemployed guy in Korea who taught himself economics did -- he was writing about it for months before ir happened.

But the adminintsration did not.
Actually they just ignored it

11. Something was very wrong with his telephone interview today.....
. I can't exactly put my finger on it... but it gives me the creeps. TV networks will usually shy away from 'telephone only' interviews unless it is breaking news or an emergency. (Especially when the audio quality is poor) (Audio only) on TV News is a tune-out factor.

The very fact that they interviewed this sick man on TV today and fawned over his every word.. is very suspicious.

Did the Pentagon call for this interview? The DOD, the CIA.. who then?

I hate to put on my tinfoil cap... but Cheney is one sick, dangerous 'Dr. Strangelove'.
